What is the Interesting Games Lab?

iglab is the monthly playtesting night from the organisers of igfest -  the interesting games festival.

This means that at iglab you get to try out brand new interesting games with a whole crowd of interesting people.

What makes a game interesting? Well we tend to be interested in games that mix up elements of theatre, art, technology, great design and social play. This means we tend to make big city sized games or games that take over spaces and places in interesting ways. Not all our games use technology and where we do use it, it is about creating new experiences not duplicating ones we can already have. Not all our games are made by artists, but those artists who are involved are able to exploit a new area of interactivity and reach new audiences.

iglab is for anyone who wants the freedom to play.

iglab is run from the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol by Simon.
